RICIKAN of KERIS is a breakdown of the parts of a keris for generations.
Ricikan of Keris is also a variation of a keris and to be called ‘dhapur’. For example on a simple dagger dhapur Brojol only have rincikan Blumbangan or Pejetan only. While Dhapur Sepaner is having rincikan sekar kacang, tikel alis, sraweyan, sogokan and greneng. Each name of dhapur is determined by the presence rincikan keris blade and straight/wave of the blade.
Generally, a keris can be divided into three parts; the bar or wilahan, the ganja and the pesi. Wilahan part also be divided into three; pucukan(the top), awak-awak (the middle) and sor-soran (the bottom). In the sor-soran of keris, ricikan mostly were placed.

The parts name or Rincikan Keris is used for all keris in Nusantara/Indonesia. Oftently there are differences of words to call the part names, because of influenced by local language. For example, in Sulawesi Keris called Sele or Tappi, gonjo called genjah,pesi called Oting. Similarly, in Madura- pesi called pakseh, gonjo called ghencah, a keris is called ghember, while in Bali there are some differences to call Keris with Kadutan, pesi called panggeh, gonjo called ganje, hulu dagger called danganan.
