Mount Bromo

Mount Bromo (Indonesian: Gunung Bromo), is an active volcano and part of the Tengger massif, inEast Java, Indonesia. At 2,329 metres (7,641 ft) it is not the highest peak of the massif, but is the most well known. The massif area is one of the most visited tourist attractions in East Java,Indonesia. The volcano belongs to the Bromo Tengger Semeru National Park. The name of Bromoderived from Javanese pronunciation of Brahma, the Hindu creator god.

Rinjani Mount

Mount Rinjani or Gunung Rinjani is an active volcano in Indonesia on the island of Lombok. Administratively the mountain is in the Regency of North Lombok, West Nusa Tenggara (Indonesian:Nusa Tenggara Barat, NTB). It rises to 3,726 metres (12,224 ft), making it the second highest volcano in Indonesia.

This archipelago is groups of island located in the western part of the Kepala Burung(Vogelkoop) Guinea. Administratively, this archipelago is under the Raja Ampat District(kabupaten), West Papua Province. The islands are now the destination of the divers who are interested in the beauty of the underwater scenery. The archipelago composed by four groups island. Four groups island are named by the four largest islands, namely Waigeo Island, Misool Island, Salawati Island, and Island Batanta.

Komodo Dragon: Amazing Creature in World from Indonesia

These unique reptiles have been able to develop in an area where there is little for large animals to live on. They were there long before humans but like many organisms around the world they are subject to the growing human populations. These monitor lizards are known as Komodo dragons.

Reog Dance

Reog is a traditional Indonesian dance form. There are many type of Reogs in Indonesia, but the most notable ones are Reog Ponorogo (East Java) and Reog Sunda (West Java). Although both shared similar name, there is no connection nor similar theme among these traditions. Reog Ponorogo seems to be the kind of dance that demonstrate physical strength and extravagant lion-peafowl mask and costumes, while Reog Sunda is a lot more like a traditional musical comedy and dance.

Kecak Dance

Kecak is a form of Balinese music drama, originated in the 1930s and is performed primarily by men, although a few women's kecak groups exist as of 2006.

This dance is performed by many (tens or more) male dancers who sat lined up in a circle and with a certain rhythm called "cak" and raised both of theirs arms. depicts the story of Ramayana when formation of apes help Rama fight Ravana.

Barong and Rangda Mythology in Bali

Barong is a character in the mythology of Bali. He is the king of the spirits, leader of the hosts of good, and enemy of Rangda in the mythological traditions of Bali. Banas Pati Rajah is the fourth "brother" or spirit child that accompanies a child throughout life. Banas Pati Rajah is the spirit which animates Barong. A protector spirit, he is often represented by a lion, and traditional performances of his struggles against Rangda are popular parts of Balinese culture. The Barong is often portraited with two monkeys.

Garuda (from the Sanskrit: Garuḍa )is a large mythical bird or bird-like creature that appears in both Hindu and Buddhist mythology. In Hindu myth, Garuda is a lesser divinity, usually the vehicle of Vishnu, the supreme preserver deity. Hindus have bestowed various names of veneration upon him, including Amritaharana ("stealer of amrit") Gaganeshvara ("lord of the sky"), and Suparna ("having beautiful wings").
